MATERIAL SAFETY DATA SHEETS (MSDS)

All employees have a right to view the MSDS for all chemicals in use in the workplace. Employers are required by law to maintain a current MSDS book covering all chemicals used in the workplace. This MSDS book must be accessible at all times when employees are in the workplace.

MSDS stands for Material Safety Data Sheets. It is a reference full of information about a certain chemical designed to help workers handle and use the chemical safely. By taking a few minutes to read through the MSDS before you start to work with a chemical, you can find out what hazards it poses to your health, what its physical properties are, and how to handle and store it.

Every case of KITTER product has a complete MSDS packaged inside.  This is just one way that Kitter is helping protect our customers.  This current MSDS should be compared  with the MSDS on file in the MSDS manual located in your facility on a regular basis. Keeping the most current MSDS on file will ensure that, should an emergency arise, you and your co-workers have the most current information available.
